It may sound depressing but ever since a young age i’ve had BEAUTIFUL blonde hair. Lovley soft shiny hair that looked great all of the time had another side of the coin a side i discovered when i was about 9-10, being called a “dumb blonde” and silly comments like “of coure you don’t understand, your blonde” or “why does she get rewarded she’s blonde”. I’m now much wiser and mature i have learnt to ignore the racist comments but I’m still curious. Why have blondes been given this stereotypical reputation of being stupid or dumb?

If you have to blame someone, blame the media.
They are the ones who influence the mindset of people. Concepts such as you need a six pack abs to look cool, big boobs rule over small boobs & all that crap…

Oh God, I know, I can’t stand this. To be honest I think it’s probably because society wants blonde, traditionally “aryan” women to feel stupid and worthless. Because the fact is, they’re the smartest, most beautiful women on the planet for the most part. I mean look at Scandinavian culture, where blonde hair originates — AMAZING. Look at their societies, their discoveries and inventions, look at the science they were capable of thousands of years ago with the incredible boats they built. Scandinavians explored America BEFORE there were even Natives in most areas yet! That means they were such amazing explorers, navigators and survivalists that they were not only able to travel across the entire world on a boat, but also explore strange countries they’d never been to and discover places that hadn’t even been discovered by the people who lived there!
Never never never feel “stupid” for being blonde. Blonde is beautiful and the idea that there is anything clumsy or dumb about being blonde is just idiotic. Like I said, I think the myth has no basis in reality and is only in circulation because society wants “aryans” to feel inferior when really they’re, if anything, just the opposite.
And I think blonde girls are stunningly beautiful, and my girlfriend is a blonde German and she’s both highly intellectual and absolutely gorgeous. Myth busted
EDIT: And Amanda, keep telling yourself that — but blonde is most definitely a race. Look up “race” in the dictionary if you don’t think so. “Race” means nothing but “group”, and any group of people united by common social traits is a race. Saying that blondes are stupid IS racism to the highest degree. Just another reason I think people only say it to take the “racism” spotlight off other races and focus it on blondes, who have nothing to ACTUALLY criticize.
when people envy something and cant have it, they naturally are jealous and find it satisfying to try and convince themselves that its dumb. lol whatever. brush it off. im blonde and i have a 4.2 gpa. im proud to be aryan, u shud be to.
This is all really stupid and stereotypical as you say and it started a long time before you were born I guess and those jokes are very old and no fun at all nowadays.. because people started to talk about dumb blondes when people like the actress Marylin Monroe was around.. I don’t believe she was stupid and she was not even a natural blonde she was a brunette who dyed her hair peroxide blonde and I am sure she acted that way.. she acted a bit dumb .. dumber than she was but ever since she was around and Jayne Mansfield the sex bomb that’s where all that prejudice against blondes comes from so you can see this is now almost 50 years old or older this steroypical thinking but now those jokes got replaced by racist jokes and that’s no better to make jokes about people of another race or culture.. it’s ignorance.. but I would stand above that and ignore it.. a blonde woman is as smart and intelligent as any other woman.. it definitely has nothing to do with hair colour. there are smart blondes.. smart Brunettes and smart readheads and smart women with raven black hair and some dumb ones also but that has nothing to do with their hair colour… the people who make those jokes are ignorant. so don’t let that bother you… xx
In Nigeria, everybody has the same colour hair. Albinos didn’t start looking after themselves very well, until recently, but their hair still looks ill. LIGHT SKIN COLOUR is our equivalent of blonde hair.
Boys lose their minds if you have this golden yellow skin tone.
Girls buy dangerous chemical preparations to lighten their skin tone. This used to include an infamous brand of mercury-laden soap, and hydroquinone soaps. You let the lather dry on you, and it will lighten you. Poor or stupid girls fail to evenly apply the concoctions to all parts of their bodies, so they have golden faces and Black [Yahoo! won't let me tell you] other parts.
Some women DIE as a result of skin-bleaching, because it weakens the skin, so it cannot be sutured. If you get in an accident, you can be a goner, if you need stitches. (I was in an accident, and a window shattered in my face. I didn’t know any better, but slapped some plasters on my face- I had a window of only minutes to get where I was going- and the doctor told me that the sticking plaster adhesive had weakened my skin, so I was going to have scars because my face could not be stitched! WHy don’t they TELL you this s*it?)
The main aim of an African girl, in general, is to hook up with the Man of her Dreams. She does not have to be well-educated. She only wants the one thing. Therefore she bleaches herself, if not naturally-endowed with the “blonde skin” and laughs at the less colourful “raven-coal” or “brunette” -skinned girls, considered less attractive, who swot for dear life, because they know they will have to WORK for a living.
Many “yellow” girls are airheads, who cannot THINK serious things. They decide that since if they relax and have fun, their future prosperity is not affected, they do not have to concentrate.

The dark skinned are apparently serious going in. It is an incongruity for a dark girl to be scatterbrained, as a dark-haired girl amongst Whites.
