PUNKCAST#1010-401 – The Long Blondes performing live at the Knitting Factory NYC on July 27 2006. This song, the opener of their set, is one of the b-sides to their new single ‘Weekend Without Makeup’ on Rough Trade UK. This is a preview of PUNKCAST#1010 – more yet to come.

    I saw these live around the time ‘Couples’ came out. It was one of the best gigs I’ve been to.

    The only thing that is Sheffield is the actual band. Each of the five members moved there from other parts of the country for various reasons.

    It was in the Steel City where they all met each other and eventually formed the band.

    Are the Long Blondes from Sheffield?sure ive heard them mentioned on local radio.
    Singer looks well sexy,not sure about the song,wonder if she is free tonight,my wifes away for the weekend.LOL
