When I decided to make an herbal rinse for my hair. I chose particular herbs for the benefits that they would provide to may hair. Horsetail–contains silica which makes hair strong. It also has magnesium it as well. Nettle–improves scalp condition and growth, controls dandruff, and is also an anti-inflammatory. Burdock root–is a blood cleanser and helps make hair stronger to improve growth. It can also be used to help prevent hair loss. Chamomile–is good for brown and blonde hair color, it is also an anti-inflammatory. I could have chosen Rosemary because my hair is actually dark brown. www.viable-herbal.com
I washed my hair with mixed girls shampoo and used their leave in conditioner. While my hair was soaking wet I ran some kinky curly custard through my hair. Let it dry.
What product is in your hair right now?
Girl your hair is fantastic!
I have a lot of Carol’s Daughter’s products. I meant experimenting with more brands. NYC has everything ethnic – way more than California. Latin, Indian, Asian, African markets & specialty boutiques are everywhere. I can only get most of the stuff that I see people using here on YouTube online…I need to be able to touch and smell the products & read the packaging. I’m going on a makeup and hair product binge when I finally make it to NYC. We should definitely hang out! SHOP!
Mocha, if you ever come to NY I will take you to the Carol’s daughter in BK. We have one in NJ not to far from where I live. What product are you interested in experimenting with?
Your hair is so fabulous! I love that 3 sided comb too (even though I’ve broken a few of them). I have to say that I like Carol’s Daughter’s products, but I agree that they are terribly expensive. If I lived in an area where I had access to more products, I’d definitely experiment more.
You are welcome. Glad I could help. From what I understand the powders work better when combined.
Thank you so much for the vid. I also use Amla Oil but I mix it with Jojoba. My mother used to hate the smell but I just cant stop because Amla works so well for me. Thanks for the tips though, I was intimidated by the powder but now I can try it.
