How to remove red hair dye from naturally blonde hair?

I have naturally very blonde hair and I had this bright idea to color it red. I bought a color called light reddish blonde and it did not come out the color of the box. That was okay though because I liked it. Well I have only washed it twice and the color has completely faded. Its now like a dull blonde with light red parts. It does not look good anymore and I was curious if anyone had any tips? Can I dye it back blonde very easily? Should I dye it a cool/neutral darker blonde first to calm the red? Any suggestions would be helpful thank you.

  1. Gretchen says:

If you want to take out the dye wash it with vinegar. (white vinegar) If that doesn’t work I know this sound’s stupid but wash it with Dawn dish soap. For the future I dye it light brunette. Very in this fall cute and sofisticated too!
