How long should I wait before changing my hair color from bleach blonde highlights to dark brown?

Ok I was going for a new hair style where there are highlights half way through my hair and on top so it looks like layers of color. Needless to say my blonde highlights turned carmel orange. I really don’t like the blonde that is in my hair and I want to color it back to dark brown but I’m not sure how long I should wait before I color it. It looks cute when its combed down but when I put it up and go about my business and I catch my reflection in a mirror I freak out and don’t like it. What do I do?

well if you want to change your hair color it dipends on how long what if you want you hair long then you should start when it gets long unless it is already long if you want to make it short maybe when you have the chance.
also if you dont want to grow your hair or cut it just wait until you totally know what you want and the exact color it will be the best!

i think you should wait until your blonde highlights grow out because if you dont it may turn out really bad if you turn it to brown right now.

Get a pro to dye it any time. Don’t make a mistake again!!!

it depends how long ago you got them done, if its been longer than 2 weeks you can do it at any time, but because you are dealing with bleach highlights go to a hairdresser to get it done, simply because if you use a “at home” color, it can end up brassy looking and simply the wrong color.

when re-dying your hair after bleach, always go to a hairdresser, there are procedures that have to be done first before re-coloring

Since it’s already colored you can go brown whenever. Going lighter damages your hair more.Darker usually means healthier.Try a rinse first to see what color it turns and to see what permanent you want.
